DESCRIPTION

The studio was transformed into a participatory environment structured by handwritten texts and suspended threads.

Visitors were invited to write a new promise or renew an existing one. After writing, they tied a thread extending from the artist’s body onto a growing web of strings installed on the wall.

Over the course of the residency and exhibition activations, more than one hundred promises were collected, each marked by a knot.

The installation remained in place for one month and was activated throughout the residency period, including a continuous three-hour activation during the exhibition opening.

CONTEXT

The collected threads form the foundation of an ongoing textile work initiated during the residency. Each knot corresponds to an individual declaration, transforming private intention into visible structure. The piece continues to evolve over time.
