It Feels Like… is a participatory installation that transforms a domestic bathroom into a reflective chamber of emotional language. Metallic surfaces, suspended fragments of text, and mirrored reflections create an immersive environment where visitors navigate phrases describing internal states.

Participants move through a field of hanging paper forms, each bearing incomplete sentences beginning with “It feels like…”. The installation invites spectators to project their own emotional vocabulary onto the space, turning private sensation into shared architecture.

CONTEXT

The work explores vulnerability within ordinary spaces. By converting a site associated with privacy into a public poetic environment, the installation examines how language mediates emotional exposure.

Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, It Feels Like… functions as an open structure. Meaning emerges through movement, proximity, and reflection. The viewer becomes both witness and participant, suspended between intimacy and display.
